Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve always loved music. I’ve been performing from a very early age, and I started playing guitar when I was 11 years old.
In 2012, I dropped out of the corporate life and moved to Mexico to pursue music full time. I ended up in sunny Puerto Vallarta, where I was the lead singer of a classic rock band and playing solo gigs, too.
In 2016, I got bored of paradise and moved back to the northwest to be closer to my family.
Although I’m also a songwriter, I find a real joy in playing songs that people already know and love. Your wedding day is about YOU and the music you love. I’m happy to work with you to put together a set list that expresses who you are and how you and your fiancé feel about each other.
I really enjoy being able to put a fresh spin on classic songs by playing them on the acoustic guitar.
Other things about me:
I love corny, nerdy jokes. I probably tell more dad jokes than your average dad (side note: what do you call it when someone who is not a dad makes a dad joke? A faux Pa). However, I will refrain from telling bad jokes on your wedding day and just stick to singing. If anyone should be telling dad jokes at your wedding, it should be your dad, during his toast.
I’m a raging chocoholic. One time, I ate so much dark chocolate, my heart started beating really fast, and I was afraid I was going to be the first person to die of a chocolate overdose.

What kind of equipment do you need? Just a power outlet. I have microphones and speakers for all situations and room sizes. If you need to use my microphone for the ceremony or for making announcements and toasts, that’s fine.
What songs do you play? There is a complete list here. I can also learn new songs on request, with sufficient advance notice.
How long can you play for? I prefer to play for 1-3 hours. Four hours is doable, but it kind of taxes my voice. If you really want to get everyone on the dance floor, I’d recommend having me play your dinner/cocktail hour, and then have a DJ kick it into high gear. This can be a good way to save money, since a wedding band costs considerably more than a DJ + a soloist.
Can you play classical music during my ceremony? I’m not really a classically trained guitarist. I do have a few instrumental pieces in my repertoire, but if you’re looking for a specific piece, or an instrumental version of a popular song, I can recommend a classical guitarist. I’m happy to sing any song of your choice in a soft subtle style though.
